REDinvent design team has years of hands-on experience in designing and developing mechanical engineering systems from concept to deployment. We take utmost care in making sure that our designs not only meet industry standards, but are also ergonomic.The design process starts off with ideation sketches. The concepts are further brainstormed considering various aspects like material availability, dimensions, manufacturability, cost, ease of assembly etc. The best concept is further developed and a preliminary design is created in 3D and validated using CAE. The detailed design is developed after one or two iterations of preliminary design. 2D drawings are prepared with GD&T and released for manufacturing.
Cost reduction and weight reduction are important criteria for a design to be optimal. But this cannot be done by blindly removing material from the parts or components. This is where Design Optimization comes in. Through detailed analysis we can optimize a design to lower weight or cost. In this process, the least stress affected areas of the part or component are identified in the first level analysis. By multiple iterations an optimum design with reduced weight and of uncompromised performance can be arrived at.
